Desanka Stanojević was born in 1956, in Smederevska palanka. In 1978, she graduated from the Higher Pedagogical School in Belgrade, being in the class of Professors Slobodan Sotirov and Milun Mitrović.
In the year of her graduation, she started working as an art teacher which continued to be her vocation until her retirement.
She was an active participant in art colonies both in our country and abroad.
Desanka is a member of the Association of Artists “Milena Pavlović - Barili”, as well as of numerous collective exhibitions.
The exhibition An Angel to an Angel is dedicated to her grandson.
